DeadCowboy scribble

Tried scribble some stuff for Covered. Couldn't quite get the fear in his eyes and it's all a bit too stiff. But I think I'll go for some science super gorilla instead.

I'm keeping the comic title for later though. Dead Cowboy comics. I like it.

KAKA (AKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKA)

Another day, another go at a possibly great footballer. Well no. Kaka is amazing. Nice guy too. Very little of the theatrics you'd associate with S American football.
Below is the line work. This was all done in Photoshop. The inking style was initially going to be ALex Maleev style but ended up going for more of a Lark or Epting. Something that really doesn't come out once the colour is done underneath.
After the success my portrait of Landon Donovan gave the US, I'm sorry if its an early exit for you Brazil.

From the dusty files: Night At The Museum 2

for the third issue of FiRST we looked at the truth behind the comedy historical characters used in A Night At The Museum 2. The film lasted less than a month from mid-May in Singapore , still going in Leicester Square in late August in UK. Anyway, it was a "hahaha this guy in reality slaughtered thousands Ahahahahahaha."
Art wise the idea was to produce some advertising banners, like the kind that would beused for a real exhibition. Here's the ones that trned out Okayest of all. Not bad manipulation for a set of limited pictures

From the dusty files: Atomik Mike poster

Od one this. Basically put this forward for the indie title Atomik Mike (its about a space monkey, I was naturally attracted) after a request for posters of the character.
Think this was the first fully digital painting I did.
They said they'd send me a comp copy of the book, but it never got here. Ah well. Tempted to get a copy from Amazon just to see if it made it.

Abraham Lincoln goes to Washington

LOCKE returns

Second Lost post in as many days, but with a spare moment I decided to colour my previous scribble.

SO given the extra LOST celebration here's what would be be lovely to be solved
What is the smoke monster?
What was with the food drops and why have they stopped?(though I think that has to do with the islands time/space skipping that brought Ecko's brother's plane and the Black Rock)
Who was/is Libby? Why was she in hospital with Hurley. Why did she give Desmond the boat ?
How did they get Locke's dad to the Island?
Jack's dad. Christian Shepard's connection. Is it him or an island creation?
Who/what hell is Jacob?
Russo's story. I'm guessing she was mind-wiped. But what's the real deal. Is her story of the team gone mad real?
What happened to the stewardess and the kids? And all the Others that made like the Pied Piper and went into the mountain.
Who built the four toed statues

STOP PRESS
I was going to ask what is Widmore's fascination with the Black Rock. Then it all came together. Sun confronted him and said they both wanted to get back to the Island. He's been there, and I reckon that he was one of the English/Aussie soldiers from episode 5.1 that threatened to cut Juliet's arm off.
I have some days off after tomorrow. I plan to watch every episode of Lost to date. Not the webisodes, that would, of course, be too geeky.
